Quick & Versatile Dressing

This dressing is tangy, creamy with rich umami flavours.

I love these ingredients and use at least one in so many of my meals. I mix them together with a little water to easily pour over a salad, roasted veg of stir through rice - this is just a few examples.

For the image, I stirred it through some wilted chard, spinach and wild garlic.



Ingredients


1 tbsp tahini

1 tsp miso paste (I use red)

1/2 tsp tamarind

2 tbsp water

Mix all of the ingredients into a small bowl and pour onto your chosen meal.


Notes


- If you prefer it a little sweeter, you could sweeten with 1/2-1 tsp of maple syrup.


- I use red miso paste however, you could substitute with another type, such as white.


- You can lift the sauce further with additions such as fresh ginger, garlic and/or chilli.
