This is a super creamy smoothie with a rich chocolatey flavour and a lovely sweetness from the frozen fruit.
The inclusion of different powders allows the smoothie to have many benefits. Cinnamon is great for digestive health as well as energy. Maca and cacao are also energising.
Using frozen fruit helps form a thick and better consistency drink whilst also preventing oxidation.
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1/4 frozen papaya
1 tbsp cacao
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maca
80ml oat milk

Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz until completely smooth.
Notes
- If you only have fresh fruit, include some ice cubes to keep the drink cool, preventing oxidation.
- If the mixture is a bit too thick add a dash of cold water or milk
- Try adding a couple of slices of fresh ginger to add a slight heat to the drink.
- As shown in the images, I used this smoothie as a flavoured milk for my breakfast which is so delicious but you could alternatively just drink it.
